Small Business Trainer and Coach
Nicole Clark has a passion for working with entrepreneurs to create the small business of their dreams through implementing sound business plans and marketing strategies, creating reliable financial forecasts, and implementing action plans for success.
Prior to moving her business to Penticton, BC in 2014, she owned 3 real estate offices in the Greater Vancouver area, training and coaching hundreds of real estate agents on how to be entrepreneurial in their business. Her company earned revenues in excess of $5 million.
Her passion is to teach people how to launch or expand, and run a successful small business. She teaches her clients how to determine if their business concept is viable. Next, they learn how to formulate a business plan that provides the details for the launch of their business. This is suitable to be presented to a lender or investor to raise the necessary capital. Additional areas of support include financial forecasting, market research, business launch, marketing plans, strategic planning and overcoming overwhelm.
KISStrategies Small Business Programs
Nicole has added two live workshop series to her arsenal, ProfitRx is a business plan development program that includes 8 days of workshops and hands on learning. Her Digital Marketing Workshop series introduces business owners to the importance of including digital in their marketing strategy and how to go about that.
In 2019, KISStrategies is embarking on a new journey to take its business training and consulting beyond the South Okanagan to reach entrepreneurs across Canada. The goal is to help as many Canadians as possible to learn what is necessary to move from “I have a great business idea!” to “Open for Business”. This is through an online version of her popular live ProfitRx Business Plan Development workshops and includes up to 14 hours of one-on-one coaching.
Small Business Community Impact
Founder, Nicole Clark, was delighted to be awarded a contract with Community Futures Okanagan Similkameen in September 2015, to collaborate with them on the delivery of WorkBC’s Self-Employment Program to entrepreneurs on EI, with disabilities, or with other barriers to employment. This has been an extremely fulfilling part of her business.
Since establishing the business in Penticton in 2014, Nicole has guided well over 200 small business owners through a successful launch of their business plan. It thrills her to participate in the ‘aha’ moments her clients have as they embark on their entrepreneurial journey. Her successful results with her clients led to nominations in 2016, 2017 and 2018 in four categories for the Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. These were Business Leader of the Year, Community Support Excellence, Professional Services Excellence, and Home-Based Business of the Year.
Nicole lives in Penticton, BC with her husband Don. Transplants from the Vancouver area, they thoroughly enjoy this beautiful valley and its fantastic climate.
